Old is Gold.
The first workshop of the Awakened project was held!
The idea of the project is to create a performance of applied theater devised with the Vintage Theater methodology with older population. The performance will have specially designed sections for audience interaction and their inclusion in the dramatic narrative.
At the same time, Awakened is part of the PhD artistic work of Branka Bajić, at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad.
The work process includes the following stages:
- Process workshop work with a group of pensioners in order to strengthen and raise awareness of the social position of the elderly, as well as the creation of the final performance.
- Public performances of the play, which in accordance with the methodology of applied theater, will have interactive parts with the audience.
- Artistic-research level of work, methodical questioning and presentation of the scope of the project to the artistic-scientific community.
